From the first episode of Medarot. Or I guess Medabot if you watched the English version, though I can’t say I have any idea if this made that edit or not. Whilst I can’t say I ever particularly went through a stage were I felt cartoons were beneath me, much like Digimon, it’s English broadcast was at a point when I struggled to catch anything that was airing in the kind of timeslots it was airing in over here.

Which isn’t to say that I don’t ever go back to some of this stuff – Medarot is one of those things that I’ve been sporadically picking off an episode or two of whenever I have an idle half-hour with nothing current or higher-priority to watch. Which is to say, I watch an episode maybe once every two months, mostly when one of the definitive anime sorts brings up how good/interesting its animation was again.

I’ll get around to finishing it one day. It might be in 2030, though.

From episode 4 of Dennou Coil, this is one of those ones where literally the only note I had was “Huh, there’s a Mikan Box in Dennou Coil”. Not very useful, Past Me. That being said, it ended up being in exactly the episode I thought it was – the one where Isako and the boys fight it out in the school. Figured it’d be that one just because I remember there being a lot of boxes in it – which there were – but it ended up being in a completely different context to what I expected. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Been out most the day and forgot to prep anything, so here’s something I stole from someone else’s Twitter. Been a while since I’ve seen Planetes, but presuming it’s from episode 6.

Kinda depressed right now, so little else to say.

From episode 21 of Chobits. Someone (I forget who, sorry!) told me about his one some… errr, ten years ago, or somewhere there about?

I’d like to say it’s something I was keeping under my hat for a rainy day, but it’s actually more a case of who the heck would want to watch Chobits in this day and age. That show is so 2002.
